Spider Society

CURRENT MEMBERS: Ted Mankowski, Mr. Sanderson, Nina Smith, Phil, Alice, many others unidentified
FORMER MEMBERS: Araña, Sophia Corazon (deceased), Spider-Woman (I), Miguel Legar (deceased), Todd Matheson, Smitty McJameson, Roberto Ramirez, Paulo Ramistas, Gabe Roberson, Ezekiel Sims (deceased), Ralph Thompson, Theodore Whitefoot
FIRST APPEARANCE: Amazing Spider-Man #30 (2001)
BASE OF OPERATION: New York City, New York

HISTORY: In the year 1099 AD, a group formed in Castile pledging to act as self-appointed guardians of peace while operating from the shadows. Their league, named the Spider Society, engaged in combat during the medieval Crusades. They discovered the ancient writings of the Arabs, instructing them in arcane secrets and offering protection from totemic (i.e. animal-linked) magical resources. In time, the Sisterhood of the Wasp became an offshoot from the Society of the Spider. While the Spider Society preferred more peaceful methods, the Wasps opted for lethal attacks. After fighting over the true meaning of power, the two groups soon became mortal enemies and have remained so to this day.
The Spider Society operates with a mystically bonded pair at the vanguard of their team: the Mage and the Hunter. When they are together, the power of each individual is enhanced. Hunters are born with special powers, and the affinity to become a future Hunter is passed through bloodlines. Activating the Hunter persona is a transformative process which increases the prowess for fighting to an animalistic, near-intuitive level, while temporarily dulling the Hunter's cognitive abilities, leading to potential for acts of savagery. The ritual to select an initiate replacement Hunter if a Hunter retires or is killed can only be performed once a year. In modern times, the Spider Society has often covertly operated within a shell corporation acting as a front. The corporation, managed under the direction of Ezekiel Sims, funded the Society for 22 years. Sims used his illicitly obtained spider-powers for personal gain, his heart focused on the corporation's profits while avoiding the debt he owed for the powers. When supernatural forces sought to claim Ezekiel's life to pay the debt, Sims tricked Spider-Man into taking his place in a ritual sacrifice at a Peruvian temple; however, the mystical ritual linked Sims to Spider-Man, enlightening Sims as to the errors of his ways. Sims saved Spider-Man, allowing himself to be killed instead.
After Sims' corporation folded, the Spider Society moved their operations under the name of WebCorps, run by Mr. Sanderson. Anya Corazon (Araña), a descendant of one of the first Hunters, Benicio Del Corazon, was initiated to become the next Hunter, paired with mage Miguel Legar. Although the true Hunter was supposed to be Miguel's love, Nina Smith, Miguel made Araña a Hunter to both save her life, and attempt to avoid a premonition of Nina's death if she were selected to be the Hunter. Though impetuous and immature, Area proved to be a formidable adversary to the Wasps and their soldiers (the Drones), aiding Miguel twice in interrupting the Wasp ceremony to summon their Hunter (a ritual that can only be performed once a year). In the second such interruption, both Miguel and Nina were killed, but Araña resurrected Nina by surrendering the Hunter's power to her. Araña retained many of her powers, and left WebCorps to become a government-sanctioned superhero.

Spider-Woman IV

REAL NAME: Charlotte Witter

ALIASES: None

IDENTITY: Known to authorities

OCCUPATION: Fashion designer, criminal

CITIZENSHIP: U.S.A.

PLACE OF BIRTH: Sublimity Oregon

KNOWN RELATIVES: Cassandra Webb (Madame Web, grandmother), Jonathan Webb (grandfather, deceased)

GROUP AFFILIATION: Former associate of Dr. Octopus (Otto Octavius)

EDUCATION: B.A. in fashion and merchandising

FIRST APPEARANCE: Amazing Spider-Man #5 (1999)

HISTORY: The granddaughter of the clairvoyant Madame Web, Charlotte Witter was a reputable fashion designer who also dealt in illegal markets, which brought her into contact with Dr. Octopus. Sensing latent psychic powers in Witter that could further his plans, Octopus kidnapped her and conducted genetic testing using spider DNA, altering Witter's physical appearance and transforming her into a spider-human hybrid. Witter despised what Octopus had done to her and tried to kill him several times, but Octopus conditioned her through torture, sensory deprivation and starvation until she obeyed his every command, so long as he provided her with a steady diet of human blood. Taking the name "Spider-Woman," Witter orchestrated attacks on other women who had previously used that name and absorbed their powers, with orders to kill Spider-Man once the powers of all the other Spider-Women had been absorbed.

In the island-nation of Madripoor, Witter ambushed and defeated private investigator Jessica Drew (who had temporarily given up her "Spider-Woman" identity at the time) as she walked home from work. Shortly after, in Los Angeles, California, Witter overpowered former Spider-Woman, Julia Carpenter in her home as she waited for her daughter to return from school. Learning of the attacks on the other Spider-Women, who were both left in critical condition, Spider-Man set out to protect 15-year-old Mattie Franklin, the current holder of the "Spider-Woman" title at the time. Witter attacked them both, but Spider-Man escaped with the injured Franklin, whom he brought to the apartment of the Black Cat. Following the trail of Franklin's power, Witter tracked her down but was forced to retreat by Black Cat and Spider-Man, who placed a Spider-Tracer on Witter to follow her movements. Witter next resurfaced on a New York rooftop battling the NYPD until Spider-Man arrived, causing Witter to reconsider her actions and feel momentary remorse for attacking the other Spider-Women. But Witter soon reverted to Octopus' programming, defeating Spider-Man and bringing him to Octopus's lair under the East River before Spider-Man escaped, driving off Octopus and Witter.

Days later, now operating from an abandoned Greenwich Village brownstone, Witter began kidnapping men on which to feed while Madame Web assembled the heroic, depowered Spider-Women to capture her granddaughter. Tracking Witter's psychic emanations, Franklin and Drew battled her, and Witter was rendered unconscious when Franklin mystically absorbed all of the power that Witter had stolen from the others. Reuniting with Octopus, Witter realized that she still had psychic control over the spider legs that were now attached to Franklin's back, and she forced Franklin to attack Spider-Man against her will until Madame Web severed the psychic link and subdued Witter. Witter was placed in Web's care as she slowly siphoned her powers back, eventually escaping and using her psychic powers to learn Spider-Man's true identity. Witter's powers were finally rendered dormant after Spider-Man and Franklin defeated her.

HEIGHT: 5 ft. 10 in.WEIGHT: 128 lbs.

EYES: (Witter) Green; (Spider-Woman) red

HAIR: (Witter) Blonde; (Spider-Woman) platinum with black streaks

ABILITIES: Fully powered, Spider-Woman had superhuman strength, speed and agility; the ability to adhere to virtually any surface: the power of flight; and the ability to generate bio-electric "venom blasts." strands of psionic force that could be woven into adhesive "psi-webs." and psionic spider legs that emanated from her back. She also has inherent precognitive abilities, telepathy and psionic detection. Spider-Woman can hypnotize males using eye contact, and she can absorb the powers of other Spider-Women.

Wolverine

Real Name: James Howlett, now goes by Logan
Identity: Secret
Occupation: (current) Adventurer, member of the X-Men, (possible former) Samurai, (former) CIA operative, member of Canada's Weapon X program, leader of Alpha Flight, bartender on Madripoor
Other Aliases: Weapon X, PatchPlace of Birth: Unknown, presumably in Canada.Marital
Status: Single
Known Relatives: John Howlett (father, deceased), Elizabeth Howlett (mother, presumed deceased) "The Old Man" (unnamed grandfather, presumed deceased) Windsong (wife, deceased)
Base of Operations: (current) Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, (former) the Clan Yashida compound in Japan, Department H in Canada. Group Affiliation: (current) X-Men, (former) Clan Yashida, the Weapon X Program, Alpha Flight
First Appearance: THE INCREDIBLE HULK #181

History: In the late 1880's a child by the name of James Howlett was born. As a child James was a frail and sick boy. His allergies didn't allow him to go out and play much. His father had requested that a twelve year old girl be brought to their estate. That girl was named Rose and she was to be a friend and play mate to James. She read to him and looked after him. Along with the grounds keeper's son, Dog, James and Rose were the only children on the hill where the estate was. They had become close friends and played together as much as possible but Dog slowly grew away from them. Dog's father, the grounds keeper was named Thomas Logan, he was an alcoholic and abuse his son.

Over the next few years Dog started to follow in his father footsteps, becoming cruel and heartless. James was given more responsibilities by his father and grandfather. After a big fight, Dog killed James's K-9 companion which resulted in the Logans getting kicked off the Howlett estate.
In a fit of rage and anger Thomas Logan and his son entered the estate armed. They then took Rose hostage and demanded that she take them to the masters' bedroom. There the elder Logan tried to persuade James's mother, Elizabeth, to leave with them. Before they could leave John entered the room and discovered them together. In a rage of hate and dislike Thomas shot John s James walked into the room. Seeing his father shot and killed shocked him so much that it triggered his latent mutant abilities. His claws extended and continued through Thomas.

After his mother shunned him for his unusual abilities he fled the house. Rose followed to see what she could do. She found James outside the house on the ground and cold. She brought him to the barn in order to try and warm him up. Not knowing what to do Rose brought James to his grandfather house. He ended up giving them cash and told them never to come back again.
Rose took James and went to British Columbia looking for a place that they could live in peace. Rose remembered her father talking of quarries in the Northern frontiers and she figured that would be a good place for them to start looking. Making it to a quarry, they met a man named Smitty who was the foreman. That is when Rose gave James the name Logan to hide his true identity.

By the second summer there Logan was providing for both Rose and himself. He had trained himself to be a fine hunter and he also worked hard at the quarry. Smitty even gave him a new job in demolitions. Shortly after that Smitty asked Rose to marry him. The proposal upset Logan but he finally realized that Smitty did indeed love Rose. Logan then helped Smitty get money for tickets away from the quarry.
Before Smitty and Rose could leave Dog showed up. At the request of Logans grandfather he was to kill Logan and Rose for what he believed they did. In the fight that followed Rose tried to break it up but was struck by Logans claws and died. After that, not being able to live among people for what he did he left the camp and went off into the wilderness to live alone.
It wasn't until his first recorded encounter with the Hulk, as an agent of Canada's Department H, that anyone had heard of him or knew that he was interacting with people again.
Logan possesses memories of being a Samurai in Japan, a mercenary operative for the Central Intelligence Agency, and a "wild man" in the Canadian wilderness. Due to the extensive memory implants given to Logan through the Weapon X program, any and all of these memories are suspect. Logan has at least one memory of meeting Captain America in World War II which was verified as true. It is possible that Logan's healing factor grants him an extended life span and has granted him the physical condition of a man in his prime, despite his age.

Sometime after World War II, Logan was taken by a group of scientists led by Dr. Cornelius as part of the Weapon X program. Cornelius was hired to perfect and use a technique that would bond the indestructible element adamantium to human bone cells. Logan's skeleton was bonded to the adamantium, and he was indoctrinated into the Weapon X assassin program.

After his encounter with the Hulk, Wolverine was conscripted by Department H to join and lead Alpha Flight, Canada's government-run super team. During his leadership of Alpha Flight, Wolverine was approached by Professor Charles Xavier, who was looking for mutants to help his students, the X-Men, escape from the island-being known as Krakoa, which had captured them. Wolverine left Alpha Flight to accompany Xavier and rescue the captured X-Men. After Krakoa was defeated, Wolverine decided to stay with the X-Men, for reasons which included that he had fallen for the X-Man known as Marvel Girl.
Logan remained with the X-Men for quite some time, at one time being their field commander, and encountering adversaries such as Proteus, Magneto, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Brood, the Reavers, demons from the dimension of Limbo, the Marauders, the Morlocks, and even Dracula on one occasion.
After his encounter with the mutant assassin Omega Red, Logan began to question the memories he possessed, but his searches to find his true identity and memories proved fruitless.
During an encounter with the mutant Magneto on his space station called Avalon, Wolverine attempted to defeat Magneto using the claws presumably given to him by the Weapon X project. Magneto retaliated, using his powers of the magnetic field to tear the adamantium out of Wolverine's skeleton, causing extensive injuries. These injuries shorted out Wolverine's healing factor for a time, and Logan also discovered that the claws that he believed a result of the Weapon X project were in fact a natural mutation. The claws he now possesses are bone, and a natural part of his skeletal structure.

As a result of his injuries, Logan left the X-Men for a time, returning after he was asked by Xavier, who also asked the mutant Cable, to rescue the X-Men in Tibet, where they were captured during the Phalanx invasion.

Recently, Logan was kidnapped by Tyler Dayspring, calling himself Genesis, who wanted to make Wolverine one of his new Horsemen. Genesis had acquired adamantium by destroying the body of the mercenary known as Cyber, and had planned to recreate the bonding process used on Logan years ago. This time, however, Logan's body rejected the adamantium, and he regressed for a time to a feral-like state.

Logan regained his lucidity, rejoined the X-Men, and is now supervising the team while Cyclops and Jean Grey are on leave. Still without his Adamantium, Logan was kidnapped by the would-be conqueror Apocalypse, perhaps the world's first mutant, and forced to fight the savage assassin Sabretooth for the mantle of the Horseman Death. Viewing himself as a more merciful candidate than his fellow mutant, Logan fought hard to win the battle. As a result, his skeleton again was laced with Adamantium. Under the control of Apocalypse, Wolverine fought the X-Men ferociously in his Death persona. But with the help of his teammates, he eventually broke free from Apocalypse's control.
Height:5 ft. 3 in.
Weight: (without adamantium skeleton) 200 lbs., (with adamantium skeleton) 300 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Strength Level: While Wolverine may be of an advanced age, he possesses the normal human strength of a man in his prime with his height and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. While possessing the adamantium skeleton, Wolverine's strength was increased to the human maximum, making him capable of lifting (pressing) 800 lbs.
Known Superhuman Powers: Wolverine is a mutant with a number of enhancements to his physiology. Wolverine possesses heightened senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than that of a normal human. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Logan can use these enhanced senses to track anyone, with an impressive degree of success.

He possesses retractable bone claws that are housed in his forearms, they are part of his skeleton system. At will Wolverine can release these claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but bleeding is quickly halted by his healing factor. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure. This allows Wolverine to be able to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials. (Note: While Wolverine possessed his adamantium skeleton, his claws were able to cut through almost any material without any fear of damage to the claws.)

Lastly, Wolverine possesses an accelerated healing factor based on his physiology. While most normal humans heal injuries over a long period of time, Wolverine's healing factor speeds up that natural process. Wolverine's natural healing has been advanced to the point where he can heal extensive injuries (such as broken limbs) in a matter of hours to days. This factor gives him a higher resistance to poisons and toxins, and he can recover from almost any injury. The more extensive the injury, the longer the healing time will be.

Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die.

Wolverine, again due to his healing factor, has an enhanced resistance to disease, as well as an extended life span. Despite Wolverine's chronological age, he is still as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.
Abilities: Due to his extensive training as a CIA operative, a Samurai, and as a member of the Weapon X program, Wolverine is a master of multiple forms of martial arts, weapons, and vehicles. He is also a trained expert in computers, explosives, and assassination techniques.

X-Men

The X-Men are a fictional Marvel Comics superhero team. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, they debuted in The X-Men #1, published in September 1963.

The X-Men are mutants who, as a result of a sudden leap in human evolution, are born with latent superhuman abilities that generally manifest themselves at puberty. In the stories, many ordinary humans harbor an intense fear or distrust of mutants (often referred to as Homo superior), who are regarded by a number of scientists as the next step in human evolution. They are thus widely viewed as a threat to human civilizations; mutants who use their powers for criminal ends exacerbate the tensions. The X-Men were formed by the benevolent Professor Charles Xavier, (a.k.a. Professor X), a wealthy mutant who founded an academy to train young mutants to protect themselves and the world from Magneto, the Brotherhood of Mutants and other mutant threats.

The X-Men comic book series was one of comicdom’s earliest and most influential trendsetters in adopting a multicultural central cast; during the 1970s, the roster was diversified, adding characters from Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Kenya, and the Soviet Union. Characters representing many other ethnicities and cultural backgrounds have subsequently been added. The stories themselves have often included themes relating to the status of minorities, including assimilation, tolerance, and beliefs regarding a "superior race".

The X-Men series has been adapted into films and television shows. The television shows have included one of the most successful weekend morning programs, X-Men: The Animated Series, and the hit Kids WB! animated series X-Men: Evolution. In 2000, the X-Men movie directed by Bryan Singer was released and featured Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, James Marsden as Scott Summers (Cyclops), Halle Berry as Ororo Munroe (Storm), Hugh Jackman as Logan (Wolverine), Famke Janssen as Jean Grey (No codename in the films), and Anna Paquin as Marie (Rogue). Its sequel, X2: X-Men United, was released in 2003, again directed by Singer. A third X-Men movie, X-Men: The Last Stand, directed by Brett Ratner, was released May 26, 2006. By 2008, two more films were in development, one featuring the origin of Wolverine and the other featuring the origins of Magneto.

[edit] Sushi Pack Members

Ikura: Named after salmon egg sushi. He is very headstrong and charges in when it comes to helping his friends. He has the power to shoot sticky fish eggs. He's also terrified of bears.
Kani: An easily angered girl named after crab sushi. Her pigtails are tough crab claws, which she uses to give her foes a powerful pinch.
Maguro Maki: The calm, peaceful member of the group named after tuna sushi. She's in touch with her inner tuna, and enjoys meditation and Feng Shui. She can float, and has almost psychic powers. Maguro is voiced by Tara Strong.
Tako: The unofficial leader. Named after octopus sushi, he certainly looks the part. He has six long tentacle arms, and an eye patch. He would rather use his powers of shooting multi-colored ink to be a world renowned painter than to fight evil, and gets insulted when his paintings are called bad (which they are.) He is voiced by D.J Rick Adams.
Wasabi: The smallest, cutest, and speechless character of the Sushi Pack. A spicy ball of hot mustard, he can only communicate with squeally noises, and has the power to fly and shoot fireballs at foes. He is very sensitive, and gets upset easily.

Kamen Rider 2

Kamen Rider 2 (Kamen Raidā Ni-Gō, Masked Rider 2) is a fictional character from the Japanese tokusatsu television series Kamen Rider, the first in the famous Kamen Rider franchise of tokusatsu programmes.
The secondary protagonist of the series, like Kamen Rider 1, is a motorcycle-riding superhero modelled upon a grasshopper.

In the original series, he is portrayed by Takeshi Sasaki. Later , he was portrayed by Hassei Takano (who previous played Miyuki Tezuka/Kamen Rider Raia from Kamen Rider Ryuki) in the film Kamen Rider The First and its sequel, Kamen Rider The Next.

Hayato Ichimonji, a free-lancer photographer, is kidnapped by the organization Shocker in order to become a reconstructed human able to fight the deserter Takeshi Hongo, aka Kamen Rider. Before Shocker scientists brainwashes him, Hongo appears and saves Ichimonji's sanity. Hongo leaves Japan to fight Shocker branches overseas, and Ichimonji becomes his successor as Kamen Rider, protecting Japan from Shocker's actions.

Some time later, Takeshi Hongo returns to Japan and fights alongside Ichimonji. Now, Hongo is known as Kamen Rider 1 and Ichimonji, Kamen Rider 2. The pair is occasionally called "The Double Riders". With Hongo back, it's Ichimonji who now leaves Japan for training in South America. Near the end of the series, Rider 2 is back to help Rider 1 to defeat Gel-Shocker, Shocker's new denomination.

Shocker captured photographer Ichimonji, Hayato (Sasaki, Takeshi) in order to convert him into a cyborg more powerful than Kamen Rider. It was there intention that this new cyborg would defeat Kamen Rider, however before Shocker surgeons could alter Ichimonji, Hayato's brain Kamen Rider broke into their base to rescue Hayato. Still in his right mind, Ichimonji, Hayato used his new abilities as Kamen Rider 2 to fight Shocker. At first he fought alone, Kamen Rider 1 having left Japan to battle Shocker mutants elsewhere. Eventually however Riders 1 and 2 fought Shocker together.

Ichimonjo was the first Kamen Rider to have a henshin movement and word. His Henshin Belt like Hongo's is called "Typhoon". He rode an ordinary motorcycle which transformed when he did.

Kamen Rider 2 is 172 cm (5 ft, 7 inches) tall, weighs 65 kg (143 lbs) and can jump up to 15 meters (49 feet).

Kamen Rider 2's special combat techniques include "Rider Kick", "Rider Kaiten (Rotating) Kick", "Rider Punch", and with Kamen Rider 1, "Rider Sharin (Wheel)" and "Rider Double Kick".

Kamen Rider 2's motorcycle was Cyclone 2. Cyclone 2's top speed was 400km/h (approx. 249 mph). Cyclone 2 would later be replaced by New Cyclone 2 (top speed 500km/h or 310 mph). Ichimonji, Hayato rode an ordinary looking motorcycle which could transform into Cyclone 2 or New Cyclone 2 when he transformed into Kamen Rider 2.

Kamen Rider II: When he was defeated by Dead Mangas, he left the safety of Japan to Kamen Rider I and headed for South America to strength[en] his body. In the deep Amazon jungles, he purposely was bitten by a deadly poisonous snake and other poisonous animals in order to build an immunity against the lethal serums. He also battled crocodiles to build his strength. His intense training resulted in the birth of a new body.-- from an article in the Star-Bulletin & Advertiser, 1970 something.

Ichimonji, Hayato was assisted in his battle against Shocker (and later Gel-Shocker) by Tachibana, Tobei (played by the late Kobayashi Akiji), founder of the Tachibana motorcycle club, mentor to the first seven Kamen Riders and FBI agent Taki Kazuya (played by Chiba, Jir). In episode 74 Taki founds the Kamen Rider Boys Squad, a group young boys who watch for and report the activities of Shocker. When Kamen Rider 1 needed training to increase his fighting abilities he got it from Tachibana, Tobei and Taki Kazuya.

At the end of episode 52 Ichimonji, Hayato hands his camera to Hongo, Takeshi and leaves Japan, going to South America to fight another terrorist group, Geldam, not returning to Japan until episode 72. Geldam was formed in Africa but had agents in South America, Europe, the United States, Australia and some parts of Asia (but not Japan).

Kamen Rider 1

Kamen Rider 1 (Masked Rider 1) is a fictional character and main superhero or henshin character featured in Japanese tokusatsu. He first appeared in the television series Kamen Rider, the first in the famous Kamen Rider franchise of tokusatsu programmes. The primary protagonist of the series, Kamen Rider 1 is a motorcycle-riding superhero modelled upon a grasshopper. One of the most recognisable and iconic characters in Japanese entertainment, Kamen Rider 1 is as irrecoverably burnt onto to the cultural subconscious as the series itself.
In the original series, he was portrayed by Hiroshi Fujioka, who also performed most of his own stunts. Later, he was portrayed by Masaya Kikawada in the film Kamen Rider The First and its sequel, Kamen Rider The Next.

The character, before being transformed into a powerful hero, Takeshi Hongo was a college biochemistry student. An intelligent young man who enjoyed riding motorcycles, in the first episode of the series he witnessed the murder of a scientist at the hands of a Shocker kaijin named "Kumo Otoko" ("Spider Man"). He is then kidnapped and forced to undergo a procedure that turns him into a super-powered cyborg, but escapes before he can be brainwashed to do Shocker's bidding.
After this initial introduction, the series becomes, as with most tokusatsu programmes of the era, fairly formulaic. Each episode sees Hongo meeting another of Shocker's mutants, interacting briefly with supporting characters, such as his mentor Tachibana Tobei, and ultimately defeating the enemy, often with trademark "Rider Kick" or "Rider Punch" attacks.
However, this formula was drastically altered during the filming of episode ten. Fujioka, while attempting to perform a stunt on his motorcycle, shattered his leg. The surrounding episodes were quickly edited or otherwise altered to account for this, but Fujioka's injury forced him to take a longterm hiatus from acting, so production company Toei hired a new actor, Takeshi Sasaki, to play a new Kamen Rider character, dubbed Kamen Rider 2. In the show, it was explained that Shocker had built a duplicate of their original Kamen Rider cyborg in an effort to combat the threat that Hongo posed to their organization. This new character was introduced in episode 13, as Hongo's character was gradually phased out, a process that had been occurring since episode 11.
By the time Fujioka had recovered from his injuries, Kamen Rider had become fairly successful, and Fujioka found other work, so Sasaki continued to portray the main character of the series until episode 49, when Fujioka returned to the series full time. During this time, the two characters worked together as the "Double Riders", and Takeshi's character was written out. By episode 53, through the end of the series with episode 98, Hongo was the sole protagonist, but Sasaki returned for guest spots intermittently, in episodes 72-3, 93-4, and the finale.
Kamen Rider 1 and his partner Kamen Rider 2 next appeared in the sequel Kamen Rider V3. The titular V3 was Kazami Shiro, a junior of Hongo's, and begged them to turn him into a Kamen Rider after the murder of his family by the Destron organisation. Despite initially refusing, when the young man was mortally wounded assisting them, the two Riders transformed him into Kamen Rider V3, possessing both Kamen Rider 1's "skill" and Rider 2's "strength". The Double Riders were apparently killed detonating an atomic bomb, but reappeared alive and well later on in the series.
The Double Riders would make appearances in most succeeding Kamen Rider TV series, with the exception of Kamen Rider Amazon, Kamen Rider Super-1 (although they show up in the Super-1's movie) and Kamen Rider BLACK. Kamen Rider 1 would lead the senior Riders one last time in the final episodes of Kamen Rider BLACK RX. This would prove to be the last time the 10 original Riders appeared together onscreen. Starting with Kamen Rider Kuuga, no past Riders appear in the current TV series from the franchise.

Tiger Mask

Tiger Mask: The Animated Series was made based upon manga by Ikki Kajiwara (story) and Naoki Tsuji (art), it is the pro-wrestling cartoon broadcasted from 1969 to 1971 in Japan. Tiger Mask was from Tiger's Cave that was secret organization, and once he'd been the villain wrestler called the "yellow devil." But, because he betrayed Tiger's Cave, Tiger kept fighting against the rough assassin who had life aimed at by Tiger's Cave and who attacked it one after another. Then, a variety of the hot fight with the wrestler left in the impression is unfolded with being an enemy. However, this work is not within frame of the mere pro-wrestling animate cartoon. Tiger Mask, that is, Naoto Date betrays organization, and keeps fighting because it was sworn to offer him for the people who weren't favored, the orphan because he himself was an orphan.
